Aprilia Takes Indy Moto GP Weekend.
The Red Bull Indianapolis Moto GP is the latest addition to the national motorcycle event calendar. It is the 2nd largest racing event in North America attracting over 150,000 fans (Laguna Seca Moto GP is #1). Aprilia fans had the opportunity to hang out with their favorite brand from one end of the event to the other!
XDL Stunt Riding Championships
Aprilia teamed up with the XDL stunt riding championships to host the Aprilia All-Star Challenge, the main event of the XDL freestyle championships; a stunt competition on Aprilia SXV’s right in the heart of downtown Indianapolis.

Additionally, Joe Dryden AKA Joe Vertical, riding a stunt modified Shiver 750, took home the 2nd place in the XDL Sickest Trick competition!
Aprilia arranged for the Aprilia RS125 to be the feature motorcycle placed in front of their live TV set.
Speed channel announcers Aaron Stevenson and Neale Bayly used the RS125 in discussions about riding technique, the dynasty of Aprilia in Moto GP and, as eye candy, of course!
Aprilia Indy Moto GP Party
On Saturday August 29th, Aprilia USA hosted the 2nd annual Indy MotoGP Party at the Indiana State Fairgrounds on Saturday, August 29th, prior to the AMA Flat Track Grand Nationals. With over 450 in attendance, the Aprilia team unveiled the RSV4, pulling a classic “switchero” by unveiling the RSV 1000R riding the RSV4 into the crowd. The “Aprilia party” is fast becoming a staple of Indianapolis Moto GP weekend.
